COSTA MESA — City Council candidate Chris McEvoy, 31, says he's not your everyday politician. And that's why he thinks Costa Mesa needs him.

"I don't have any obligations to any politician's viewpoint or to donors," he said. "The way I will vote on the agenda will be in the best interest of the city for the long term."

In its seventh year, SoundWalk2010, taking place on October 2nd (5:00PM-10:00PM), is an annual art event produced by the Long Beach artist group, FLOOD. The evening operates under the concept of a one-night multi-media experience as conveyed through sound art that is situated in various indoor and outdoor spaces throughout the East Village in Downtown Long Beach.
